Scout lives next to your cursor. It sees your screen, shows you exactly where to click, and speaks up the moment something looks like a scam.

right here!Hold a key, or just say “Hey Scout.” Ask anything. Scout looks at your screen, flies to the right button, and walks you through it one calm step at a time.
Scout lands right on the button you need and says one short step. No hunting through menus.
Do the step and Scout notices, then tells you the next one. “Click this… now press Enter… you're all set.”
A Medicare letter, a bank notice, an app you've never seen. Plain words, no jargon, never makes you feel silly.
People being scammed don't know it, so they never ask for help. Scout doesn't wait to be asked. It quietly watches every screen and steps in only when it matters.
Fake virus alerts, “IRS” gift-card demands, “Grandma, I'm in jail” texts. Scout flies to the fake number, explains what's wrong, and offers to close it.
Before a gift card, wire, or password goes to a risky page, the screen softly pauses. “Let's slow down for a moment.” The choice stays yours.
If AnyDesk or TeamViewer opens during a scam, Scout asks if you started it and can end the session.
Claude sees your screen together with the real buttons on it, so Scout lands on the right spot. Scams are tracked as playbooks over time: one odd screen is just odd, but a pop-up, a phone call, and a remote-control app in a row is a pattern. Claude is the witness; an explainable model is the judge.
Pick your buddy, your voice, and your shortcut in Settings. The “Hey Scout” wake word listens on-device.
Set up takes about two minutes.
Unzip, drag Scout into Applications. The first time, right-click it and choose Open.
Scout asks to see the screen and hear the mic. A friendly window walks you through it.
Put ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=… in ~/.config/scout/secrets.env, then just ask.
